Renting Options

Renting a horse in Wisconsin has never been easier. Going the renting route can be a great solution to supplement your existing way of life.  And since finding the right horse for the job isn't always easy, our Instructors specialists are always available to help match you with the right horse to get the job done.

Looking to rent a horse for you! No problem! La Fleur Stables / Madison Riding Academy offers easy and convenient ways to rent.  We help choose what's best for you.

Ways renting a horse is ideal for you:

  • Saving time 
  • Enjoyment
  • Don't have to make decisions about the horse
  • Everything is taken care; Vet, Farrier, Health
  • Feel like your Helping out that horses life


Tier I. - Rent a horse by the  Hour (60 mins) $125.-

  • Your time knowing grooming, tacking and riding
  • During our Stables hours
  • No instructor will help with anything.  
  • Must have 2020 waiver on file.
  • Tier I horses are horses that stay on property

Tier I.- Rent a horse Daily (1 day)  $150.-

  •  Your time spending and knowing grooming, tacking and riding.
  •  During our stable hours
  •  Taking your time
  • ​No instructor will help with anything.
  • Must have 2020 waiver on file.
  • Tier I horses are horses that stay on property

Tier  I. - Rent a horse Weekly (5 days) $550.-

  • Your time enjoy a horse for a week.
  • During our Stables hours
  • Having that same horse for all week.
  • No instructor will help with anything.
  • Must have 2020 waiver on file.

Tier I. and/or Tier II. - Rent a horse  $35.- a day Boarding

  • Your time enjoy a horse for a month
  •  Plus Horse Expenses (Farrier and Vet)
  • During our Stables hours
  • Have that same horse all month.
  • No instructor will help with anything.
  • Must have 2020 waiver on file.

These options doesn’t include lesson/instructor fee.
Plus 5.5% on Boarding Fees

Leasing Options

We have in stock inventory on many different horses.  Get discounted pricing when leasing a horse for 6, 8, 12 months and save on your lease payment.  With a variety of horses for your level tier.  When you lease for long term you are extending your liking to that horse,  work on a larger picture with you and the horse. Don’t want to be missing a beat. These are for staying on property.

Tier III. - Leasing a Academy - Schooling Horse $200.- per month
        6 months - $30.- a day Boarding
        6 months - $15.- a day Training includes 24 lessons with instructor 
        8 Months - $28.- a day Boarding
        8 months - $17.- a day Training includes 32 lessons with instructor 
        12 Months - $24.- a day Boarding
        12 Months - $21.- a day Training includes 48 lessons with instructor 

  • Plus Horse expenses (Farrier and minor Vet)
  • These are horses that can go to local shows with the advisement from the instructor. 
  • Plus 5.5% on Boarding Fee
  • Contract form is filled out
  • If take to a show there is NO Horse Rental Fee


Tier IV. - Leasing a Show Horse
        6 months $3500.- per month
        8 months $2500.- per month
        12 months - $1800.- per month

  • Plus Horse expenses (Farrier and minor Vet)
  • These are horses that can go to shows with the advisement from the instructor/trainer.
  • Plus 5.5% on Boarding Fee
  • Contract form is filled out
  • ​If take to a show there is NO Horse Rental Fee


Tier V. Lease to Own

  • Payment Plan
  • Plus Board & Training & horse expenses
  • You enjoy your horse so much that you want to purchase them.
  • Contract form is filled out
