Open to riders who are taking lessons and are mounted on horses actually used in a lesson program.  Owner/Trainer/Riders are welcome also.  

General: All riders will go both directions of the ring showing at all the gaits required for that class. 

Grooming Class: Showmanship Style Mandatory class for riders 7-17 years of age.  This will require prepping the horse for the show ring.  All aspects of the horse must be cleaned, mane, tail, body, and hooves.  Riders must also tack up properly.  The judge may question the riders on parts of the horse or equipment.  Riders will be placed in teams depending on numbers of participants. 

Stable Show Fee: The cost of horse, equipment, coaching fee, grooming class and facility, supplies, office fee-Rider, Stall, Tack room, Bedding, Hay $150.—

Pleasure Classes: Rider is judged on their ability to control and handle their horse properly.  Flat walk and correct leads will count. 

Equitation Classes: Rider will be judged on their ability to control their horse as well as showing proper form at the same time.  Flat walk, correct diagonals, and correct leads will count. 

Championship Classes: Riders must qualify to be eligible.  

Patterns Class: Will be posted One month ahead of time for riders to study.  We can emailed if requested.

Lead-Line Class: Riders will be led by a handler at the walk and trot both directions of the ring individually. Riders will be expected to post, however correct diagonals are not required.  

Trophies & Ribbons: Trophies will be awarded to first place winners.  Ribbons will also be awarded for first through sixth place participants. 

Attire: All English academy clothing is acceptable.  Also, all riding clothing is acceptable.  Dark colored pants or leggings will be permitted.  Riding boots preferred however other study boots or shoes will also be permitted. Sweaters and/or collared shirts with neckties are to be worn. The uniform for the Tournament show long sleeve stables T-shirts.  Please specify T-shirt size on entry blank, $25.—. Gloves must be worn, black only in leather or cloth. Helmets must be worn by riders 17 & under.  There will be some helmets provided by the stable.   Hair must be neatly braided or in a bun.  Make-up is optional.  There will be hair and make-up helpers available prior to the show. Coggins:  All Horses must have a current coggins.  All horses are required to be up to date on vaccinations.  We require EWT, FLU/Rhino, intra nasal strangles, rabies, Potomac Horse Fever and west Nile vaccinations.  We encourage horse owner to have done their prior to arrival. Riders: The rider’s age as of December 1st will be the age group said rider will compete in throughout shows for that season.  Once a rider has cantered, the rider will NOT be allowed to return to walk/trot classes. Riders cannot show walk/trot and walk/trot/canter at the same tournament.

Arrival: Saturday or Sunday Morning show starts at NOON

Stabling: 12x12 stalls with automatic water, cross ties, rubberized floor mats, hay and bedding included, Wash rack,  Full bathroom with shower area

Show Arena: 60’ x 120’ HEATED indoor riding arena 16 foot ceilings 

Warm up area: 60’ x 40’ attached to the show arena.

Spectators/Families: Families are welcome at the stables is handicap accessible.  Seating is available, can bring your own chairs.

Horse Show Tournament Programs: Are printed.  Ads and sponsorships are helpful.  Ads $25 any size and sponsorships $25 per class. These are great way to understand what is happening during the show and meet other horsey enthusiasm. 

Show Tack on Academy Horses: Work bridles, leg wraps, saddle pads are all acceptable.  Double bridles, draw reins are used to the instructors knowledge of their horses and riders.

Office Hours:  Is from 9:30am — 11am on Sunday to collect your program and back numbers. Payment is all done before showing.  

Scratches: It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to scratch an entry for a class in which her or she does not intend to participate.  No refund for scratch classes.   Due to any reason that your unable to show in the stable show, and you signed  up.  Non-Refundable on the money back.   

Cell phones: Are best to be used to video and take pictures.  Other uses please be respectful. 

All dogs must be kept on a leash.

6. Walk-Trot Equitation/Showmanship --Rider will be judged on their ability to control their horse as well as showing proper form at the same time.  Flat walk and correct diagonals will count. $25.-
7. Walk-Trot Championship Rider will be judged on their ability to control their horse as well as showing proper form at the same time.  Flat walk and correct diagonals will count. Perpetual Bronze trophy your name gets on.
8. Walk-Trot Pattern Class Rider showing elements with the horse and center riding practice. Equitation will be judged.  $25.-
