LESSON PROGRAMS
PARTIES / GROUPS / TROOPS LESSON INFORMATION
Groups and Parties:
The group/party fee is $50 for the group which includes a barn tour and an opportunity to help brush and care for the horses.
Riding options are:
1.All the participants ride 30 minutes on a horse (like a riding lesson) at an additional $30.00 per child or
2. All participants are led around the ring one on a horse at a time at an additional $10.00 per child, which is more popular with participants 10 years of age and under.
A party room is available for serving food and opening presents, with a kitchen area for food preparation (Pizza Hut delivery 828-2828). The initial fee is $50.00 per group no matter the number.
Create your own party with horse themed items from the party store and games played out on our lawn including: wheel barrow races, tug-of-war, pin the tail on the horse, egg and spoon races, bean bag toss and games on our basket ball court.
Troops:
We welcome scouting troops to earn their Horse Lovers Merit Badge or Horsemanship Merit Badge. We offer Approximately one hour of riding lessons and one hour of unmounted instruction including:
1. Barn tour with an explanation of how a barn functions
2. Learn safety around horses
3. Learn about grooming
4. Learn about saddles, bridles and other equipment
5. Learn how to mount/dismount and hold the reins properly.
There is a one time initial fee of $50.00 per troop. Riding options are:
